ISSUE SUMMARY:
On Mobiles the 'number of views' and 'report' icons on the Group cover do not look nice, and we do not need them. How do I disable / hide them?

You should modify and override this file components/com_community/templates/jomsocial/layouts/groups/single.php, find and remove this code :
