Transparency in profile picture / profile type watermarks
Uploading a profile picture with background transparency (PNG-24 in this case) creates a black background where none should be.
Perhaps this is also triggered by using profile type watermarks, I am not sure.
This also concerns profile watermarks: Transparent parts in the PNG are turned into white parts, which looks awful.
EDIT: The transparency issue concerning watermarks is only applied to the preview on the settings page. The actual applied watermark uses transparency so this is not a real issue, sorry for bringing that up then.
it's still true for profile pictures. If I use watermarks and upload a transparent profile picture the transparent background is set to black. (Using a PNG-24 file)
I see, it cant be resolved right now, jomsocial profile don't accepted the transparant image, because it will be resized and the transparant image will be black then
It would be great if you would implement an option to upload a perfectly sized picture, so you don't need to crop or resize it and keep the transparency. Will wait for improvement then.
