ISSUE SUMMARY:

Hi there, I was nearly facing the same issue than mentioned in the following post.

After deleting the cache it works with firefox now.

Further on I'm attempting the problem that changing the profile type, like from textfield to checkbox no reload happens for the form to insert the relevant options.

But there must be another issue since I do have same installation on another system and there I'm not attempting these issues at all.

STEPS TO REPLICATE:
1 open customize profile
2 click ob new field
3 change type

RESULT --> nothing happens
EXPECTED RESULT -->
BROWSER --> Chrome

do you have any customization at joomla backend? the mootools is missing from joomla backend.
and why you dont want using jomsocial 4.0.9?

Hi Albertus, no there is no customization in backend. I'm only working in the override template folder.
You're talking about an update but I suggested not to update since the template doesn't support JS 4 yet.
I already tested it once had some conflicts with modules on the right position e.g. (who is online, new users)

shall I just reinstall 3.2.1.6 to get mootools?

Please try again, should be fine now.. I added mootols library into isis template.

I really suggest you upgrad to the latets version as soon as possible, because if you still use the older version the support from us will be very limited.
