Problem when posting url in postbox

ISSUE SUMMARY: when I post a url in postbox status field, the displayed activity in wall has a bank url and the link doesn't open in browser. We have noticed this behaviour after upgrading from 4.0.7 to 8


STEPS TO REPLICATE:
1 post a web link to status
2 open the link from the wall

RESULT link doesn't open. Link is blank (http:///)
EXPECTED RESULT
BROWSER all
