Hi,

please login to frontend and have a look at this profile:
ROOT/index.php?option=com_community&view=profile&userid=1417&Itemid=187

You can see that the avatar is rotated 90 degree. In activity stream it looks good.

How can this happen? In edit profile view while uploading the picture, it looks good.

You should change the photo setting from Jomsocial backend->photos->photos setting-> Rotate Photos Automatically change to No
