Hi,

I'd like to know how to add a new field type (for eg: Profiles > customize profile > new field > type).
If i want to add in the select a new field eg: fruits, who wanna filled by database.

Actually i watched source, find "customfields.xml" in "SITE/components/com_community/libraries/fields/customfields.php" so if i edit this file (not tested if this work) i could add field (type + name) + create 2 file (1 php + 1 xml); BUT this sound like hack core.

I want a way without hack, to give possibility to get a new field type for customize profile.
PS: why there is no field type sql, like joomla form field provide ?
