Welcome the Technical Support section. Help us in assisting you by providing us with a concise and descriptive elaboration of your issues. Be specific and if possible, provide us with a step-by-step instruction in replicating your problem.
ISSUE SUMMARY:
If you choose Edit Profile you see a menu with Change Avatar, Select Profile Video, Edit Profile, Preferences, Notifications, Delete Profile. But if you select some of these items the Menu does not show, which makes navigating around your Profile confusing. eg if you choose 'Change Avatar' you do not see the menu, if you choose Edit Profile you do, for Notifications you don't.
If you choose Preferences you see General, Privacy, Emails and Notifs, Blocked, but you do not see the overall 'Edit Profile' Menu.
Navigation is confusing, and it is hard to get back to where you were previously.
EXPECTED RESULT It would be better if Edit Profile was consistent and you either saw all the menus and submenus everywhere, or not.
BROWSER
Thank you for reporting this. You're right, submenu available at Edit profile is not displayed on other pages.
Those positions are still available from main toolbar menu but they should be displayed as submenu too.
I'll report this to our developers.

- Make sure to setup JomSocial Cron Job
- Always provide us with access details to the backend and ftp. We need it to debug problems.
- If you have a similar problem, but a solution you found isn't working, open a new thread instead of 'merging' with an existing one.

That is by design. Some submenu items make no sense to show up on some pages, like change privacy option on avatar change page. We intentionally removed it.
