It only happens when somebody likes a group or profile page, but when that action happens , a normal message modal window pops up as if there is a message to be shown (ie: You just liked "other user's" profile (or something like that.) except nothing ever appears. I can see the text on all the other modal window boxes but not when somebody likes the profile pages of either another user or group... What do I need to do to fix it? Thanks,
Adam
Hi, Adam.
Does this happens on dev or live site? You specified both sites but didn't mentioned in your initial post where we should look.
Please, remember to provide accurate information. A URL that point us where issue could be seen will help us a lot.
Hi, Adam.
You may expecting issues as you're loading jQuery and no-conflict few times:

You should load jQuery only ONCE before scripts that use jQuery library and after them you should have no-conflict (but before moo-tools library.
Michal,
Thanks for the info. This is something I have been trying to figure out for months now. Any help would be appreciated. If you were in my shoes, what would be the first step you would do? How do I rearrange the order of the scripts so make that happen? I haven't been able to figure that out yet and it's driving me crazy...

Hi, Adam.
In my projects I always remove Joomla! jQuery and load my own files before j! head.
So in your case I'll disable Joomla jQuery with this magical plugin:
www.joomla-study.ru/komponenty/otklyuche...orkov-joomla-options
(read Russian? :)
Then trying to disable jQuery in any 3rd party extensions (in mos of my projects I prepare my own extensions).
I don't like jQuery easy extensions, I always manage scripts in template.
But I know that all above may be tricky for non-developers... so maybe consider to hire a professional developer?:

Michal,
Thanks for the good info. I went to the site, but couldn't find the actual download link, if you know where to find it, a link to it would be greatly appreciated. When you say try to disable jQuery in any 3rd party extensions, can you give me a simple example of what you would do to make that happen? I'm a fast learner and good at reverse engineering if I have something to reference. I am sure many ppl on the forums would also benefit from this (as well as the support staff having something to point to in future posts). :) Thanks for your guidance...

Hi, Adam.
Download link is at the page bottom:

You need to review extension options - very often extension developers put jQuery disable options into configuration. I can't point you directly as each extension may have it in different spots. The best way to know how to do that - is to ask their developer ;)
Finally you may replace spare jQuery file with a empty file with the same name ;)
