ISSUE SUMMARY:During sign-up prospective members are receiving messages that are saying "Access Denied" and users are booted off the site and have to restart registration. Is there a setting I can adjust so customers will have additional time before the security of the system logs them out? I had the same issue while attempting to create a profile to examine the issue.

do you mean the step after user put the name, email, usename, and password?
I'v got session expired issue.

please try to changing session handler to none, instead of database. at joomla backend > system > global configuration
