Mobile smilies results in empty message & Emoticons

Dear support team,

Since i have done the update to the latest edition.. every time a user is on a mobile and adds a mobile smilie, the messages sends out empty. Sure.. mobile smilies can not be send but before.. they where just left out.

Is it BTW possible to add emoticons for mobiles? If so... i will suggest it in the ideabox :D

Does it happens in a certain mobile operating system? Like Android or iOS or Windows Phone?

- Instead of saying: 'it's not working', explain the problem in detail.

Ehm.. not that i know about. I have the experience from an iphone 6 plus. Have send a smiley by mistake and an empty message was send. I also got an report from an other user, but do not know what operating system she uses.

I now see more reports about this... its really about the smilies.. i will ask what kind of device they are using...

Ups, I don't have iPhone but Samsung Galaxy with Android.
I ask other support members to test it.

Paul tested it on his iPhone... some emoticons are not showed but post appear on stream.

got a mail again from users having empty messages. This is sinds the last upgrade that i did. Never had that experience before :(

And.. if i want to launch paid memberships, then atleast the thing that needs to be working is are the messages thrue mobile...

Paul tested it on your site and he reported:

if you write heart flower smile then "test" the word test is missing. seems that the icon you choose changes the result, just doing the heart and text works fine adding icons we don't support does seem to make the text disappear


So it seems to be a bug. I'll report it to our developers.
