Now in the css folder, there is a whole lot of css files there. Namely
bootstrap.css, camera.css, default css, template.css, overides.css, komento.css, layout.css and a whole lot more.

Just to be sure, do i add the code to my template.css?

Is there any way that i can add a link button like (add to cart) to a profile that leads to a checkout?
Because my website deals with Soccer players and Soccer teams. I would love to add a link to soccer players profile so they can be bought.

You should also post your request in NEW thread, then someone else will take care of it.
That's why we always say to remember to post in NEW threads with something new.

Sure you can add anything into profile. Many depends where you want to display that button.
I'm guessing that somewhere on profile cover (along with other buttons).

Then you'll need to create override for this file:

Copy file ROOT/components/com_community/templates/jomsocial/layouts/profile/focus.php

to;

ROOT/templates/your-template/html/com_community/layouts/profile (if you don't have any of those folders, feel free to create them)

Then add your button code somewhere lines 73 and 229. Your button should appear a bit below cover. Now you'll need to style it up.
