welcome emails getting returned to me

The welcome emails and some of the activation emails are getting returned to me.

The reason noted in the returned mail is

host outbound-relay.blacknight.ie[78.153.212.229]
said: 550 High probability of spam (in reply to end of DATA command)


Why is this happening?

Hi James,

that issue related with mail server. I suggest to using SMTP instead of php mail at joomla email configuration.
you can asking your server support about SMTP configuration detail
