Hi,
I am using the Theme Designer to change the colors of Joomsocial.
I do not seem to be able to change:
a.) The Button Color of "Create Event", "Add Video", "Create Group" and "Invite friends" buttons
b.) The Button text color of the named buttons
All other buttons seem to be changeable...
Any idea?
Thank you,
Matt
Hi, Matthias.
Please, use Theme Designer -> Colors -> Primary buttons for button backgrounds.
Or you may use css for styling them:
.joms-button--primary, .joms-button--add, .joms-button--login, .joms-button__reject, .joms-postbox-tab .joms-postbox-save, .joms-postbox-tab .joms-postbox-done, .joms-focus__button--add {
background: #eee !important;
color: #000 !important;
}
Dear Michal,
thank you for your speedy reply. Yes, I did try that already.
This was the issue: all buttons on the page do change, when I use the color change option in the Theme designer.
However, the ones I mentioned do not change. They stay grey always with a white font.
I am talking about these buttons:
The Button Color of "Create Event", "Add Video", "Create Group" and "Invite friends" buttons
For some reason the colors do not change by using the Theme Designer...
Any idea?
Matthias
Ps. I will try overriding with important in CSS
Hi, Matthias.
Then which buttons do you mean?
Those are fine:
Dear Michal,
thank you for your message.
The button shown in your screenshot 72400 was not right.
The color did not change, even the backend was configured properly.
However by adding !important to the css file, it worked.
Thank you, all fine now,
Matthias
Dear Michal,
sorry to bother you again. Strangely enough, this happens again now. I did not change the CSS or the Buttons in the Theme Designer.
I just changed the image to be used at registration.
After saving the picture, the buttons turned "white" again.
You can see it in the front end. I will provide login details.
Thank you,
Matt

Hi, Matthias.
Try with secondary button color.
If it doesn't work, then use this code:
.joms-button--signup {
background: #000 !important;
}

Dear Michal,
sorry to bother you again.
I have one (hopefully last) conflict between my template and JomSocial, that I can not find in the css.
Unfortunately the Search Event Background and text I can not customise/looks wrong...
prntscr.com/779uvq
Also the "Select Time" in the event creation dialog is wrong...
prntscr.com/779v4f
Both seems to be the same thing...
Would you mind pointing me in the right direction?
Thank you,
Matthias
Hi, Matthias.
I can't bypass htaccess protection of your site... so I can't see that issue...
