Resgistration fails at profile and ask for authentication

ISSUE SUMMARY:
When a user create a new account (button "s'inscrire") on the homepage, he is directed to registration page and at the second page where he has to fill his profile Joomla breaks workflow and ask for authentication.

STEPS TO REPLICATE:
1 clic on home page on red button "S'inscrire"
2 fill form S"Enregistrer" and don't forget complex password
3 clic green button "Suivant"

1. First of all you removed JomSocial toolbar menu - it's used for components internal navigation. Removing it will cause redirect issues.
So please, recreate JomSocial toolbar menu with type "jomsocial" and recreate all menu items in this structure:

Profile
|— Change Profile Picture
|— Change Profile Video
|— Edit Profile
|— Edit Details
|— Privacy
|— Preferences
|— Customize My Page
Friends
|— Show All
|— Search
|— Advanced Search
|— Invite Friends
|— Request Sent
|— Pending my approval
Groups
Photos
Videos
Events

2. You have menu misconfiguration. You should have ONE JomSocial frontpage menu item set to PUBLIC - you may place it in hidden menu (menu not displayed on your site). This was so MANY times explained on forum.

JomSocial menu items doesn't have OWN menu item ID but inherit it from JomSocial home menu item. If you set this item for registered - you'll experience issue like one you reported here. It should be always public. You may just hide elements on JS homepage.

Also if you want to have displayed JomSocial menu items in your main menu then you should create menu items as menu aliases and point to certain menu items in JomSocial toolbar menu.

Your issue is caused by "Professionnel Santé " menu item from menu "main menu" set for REGISTERED only.


- Instead of saying: 'it's not working', explain the problem in detail.
- Screenshots with the URL visible in them and the problem marked are more than welcome.
- Tell us how to replicate the problem, we can't fix it if we can't find it.
- Make sure that your site/server meets JomSocial System Requirements
- Make sure to setup JomSocial Cron Job
- Always provide us with access details to the backend and ftp. We need it to debug problems.
- If you have a similar problem, but a solution you found isn't working, open a new thread instead of 'merging' with an existing one.

This is very good help. It solved my problem but I have a minor question. Can we move or add some menu to the toolbar and display it somewhere else ? In my case in the header location.

Can we hide or disable some items of the menu without affecting the behavior and induice bugs?
