Hi, Shaun.

I assign developer to this thread.
Please, be aware that you're using outdated version of JomSocial -> 3.2.1.6. Current version is 4.0.3 so you may be asked to upgrade as not hot-fix release will be issued for outdated JS version.

- Instead of saying: 'it's not working', explain the problem in detail.
- Screenshots with the URL visible in them and the problem marked are more than welcome.
- Tell us how to replicate the problem, we can't fix it if we can't find it.
- Make sure that your site/server meets JomSocial System Requirements
- Make sure to setup JomSocial Cron Job
- Always provide us with access details to the backend and ftp. We need it to debug problems.
- If you have a similar problem, but a solution you found isn't working, open a new thread instead of 'merging' with an existing one.

- Use the "Thank You" feature on any post that helped you

We fully understand and thank you for assigning a developer, but we are using the old Jomsocial BECAUSE of JSPT Multi Profiles component and we are awaiting an upgrade, otherwise we lose our work and profile type acls? :( . The site in question is a community based, non profit organisation website called Army Saints that we believe will help the world one day and it would be awesome to have you look at it and help us with one or two small issues and in return we could advertise your support and help to all our soldiers as we grow. I am the one who create the organisation, did the projects and also building the website same time. I do love Jomsocial

Hi, Shaun.

We'll be happy to help especially when your organization has so worthy causes.
I assigned developer to your thread as it need a look int your site code.
But as I see he has day off so I ask him to take care of your site ASAP after hes back (I mark your thread with high priority).

If you have any other issues, please, post all of them in separated threads - this will make faster to deal with them.

Hi Shaun,

seem the issue with menu item ID issue. because your site menu items as double entry.
here the doc:
documentation.jomsocial.com/wiki/Toolbar_Explained

please try to delete all jomsocial menu items at outside jomsocial toolbar. and create only one jomsocial home at main menu item.

Regards

Hi there guys!

Thank you so much for the post and the help so far. Will try that menu item id quick.

In return, and because we plan to use Jomsocial permanently, we would like to know if you guys would mind if we put a "Powered by Jomsocial" link on our site and also if we add Jomsocial to our "Supporters" page we are building. We believe in supporting those who support us, so would like to pay it forward with you guys and add you to our site.

Please let us know. We will also be trying to rectify this issue with the profile pic today and see if we can get it to work.

Does this include creating a menu item alias as well? We will create the main menu item set to jomsocial home on top bar but are we still able to use a menu item alias to link home on jomsocial toolbar to jomsocial home on main menu?
