The locker show albums and groups locked when it's open

ISSUE SUMMARY:
The locker which is used in private Groups and private albums show locked even when it's open for everyone. I Guess this is a bug?

Thank you for reporting this. It seems to be a valid bug.
I'll report it to our developers.


- Instead of saying: 'it's not working', explain the problem in detail.
- Screenshots with the URL visible in them and the problem marked are more than welcome.
- Tell us how to replicate the problem, we can't fix it if we can't find it.
- Make sure that your site/server meets JomSocial System Requirements
- Make sure to setup JomSocial Cron Job
- Always provide us with access details to the backend and ftp. We need it to debug problems.
- If you have a similar problem, but a solution you found isn't working, open a new thread instead of 'merging' with an existing one.

- Use the "Thank You" feature on any post that helped you

Updated to 4.0.5 today but still the same problem. I thought it maybe would have been fixed.

No, it is not fixed yet. 4.0.5 contains only fix reported due to certain date.
We'll have to wait till it's fixed... then I'll provide patch for you here.

Hi Michal,

Sad, because when people upload Pictures or make a Group private, they believe it is private when they see a locked locker. That is pretty much important for every Community users to trust the Community they visit and what they see regarding to photos, videos and Groups especially.

Make safe copy of this file:

ROOT/components/com_community/templates/jomsocial/layouts/groups/list.php

then replace original with patched file from package.
