ISSUE SUMMARY: When sending email notifications on any Jomsocial action where email notifications are enabled, the system sends as many as 9 copies of the same email. Example: An announcement is posted in a group. Each group members that has enabled email notifications receives 9 copies of the notification.

Hi Daniel,

try this steps:
1. goto jomsocial backend > monitor > mail queue
2. purge sent
3. configuration > site > Send Email on Page Load = Yes

Let see the issue still happening or not. it might be database exhausted. Let me know the result.
