Hi,
I added new select field to my jomsocial 4.0.3. When creation options, it seems like characters are limited, my option does not fit in one line, instead it continues to another line. How do I please change the numbers of characters allowed per line or how I do I make it unllimited? I assume I will have the same problem for other fields as some of my options are long.

Thanks

Hi Josee,

I can put long value at select field. but I found the issue with select box width. do you mean this issue?
if yes. here the fix:
edit /components/com_community/libraries/fields/select.php at line 29 you can find this code

$html       = '<select id="field'.$field->id.'" name="field' . $field->id . '"' . $dropDown . ' class="select'.$class.'" title="' . CStringHelper::escape( JText::_( $field->tips ) ). '" style="'.$this->getStyle().'" size="'.$this->params->get('size').'">';

$html       = '<select id="field'.$field->id.'" name="field' . $field->id . '"' . $dropDown . ' class="joms-select select'.$class.'" title="' . CStringHelper::escape( JText::_( $field->tips ) ). '" style="'.$this->getStyle().'" size="'.$this->params->get('size').'">';

Hi thanks,

That's what I meant. I changed the code as you suggested and it is working now.

Thanks for your assistance
