ISSUE SUMMARY:
We do not wish to show groups or any reference of them in the Hello module, or the profile tool bar. How can we remove the groups feature or at least make it invisible?

Hi Elliott,

if you wanna totally hide group you can edit Jomsocial configuratio->groups->groups setting, find this "Enable Groups" and set to NO.. then on toolbar, please you go to Joomla menu manager->Jomsocial toolbar-> and disable group menu from there.
