One of my target users are Taiwanese people and in the country dropdown list I saw that Taiwan is named as Taiwan, Province of China. May I know how can I rename it to Taiwan so that more Taiwanese users are willing to join my platform?
May I know where is the country information stored so that I can edit it? Thanks very much.

Hi Patrick,

you can override that country name by using joomla language overrides:
1. goto joomla backend > extensions > language manager
2. overrides > filter to related language
3. New, and search for value (country name)
4. after that, you can edit it.
5. save
