ISSUE SUMMARY:
After the user log in, through create registration or login, I would like them to continue with their previous task request - for e.g. they wanted to write review for one of my categories in jreview which prompted them to log in. Today, Jomsocial just automatically redirect them to the setup in the configuration which is - "frontpage, groups etc..." there's no selection for a previous pending task.

How and where I could change that ?

You can set this from Jomsocial redirect plugin, and set 'Redirect back to previous page' to Yes

It seems with the facebook module - facebook connect module, this is not working. It stills get redirected to whichever page was stated on the redirection plugin from jomsocial.
