Birthday / date picker (still) not working on IE

ISSUE SUMMARY:
Birthdate picker opens and closes straight away during registration. Also on existing profiles when editing birthdate field using Internet Explorer. Birthdate picker is working fine in Firefox. Ever since upgrade to 4.0.1 users are complaining that they cannot register. If field is not "required", message: "birthdate field can not be empty" apears straight away. We had to disable birthdate field for now, to give new users access. Only showing all without age on there profile.

I know this issue is known since 4.0.1 and should be fixed in 4.0.2, but after update it is still there.

Can you please help us to fix this?

STEPS TO REPLICATE:
1. Different computers with IE, version 10 and 11.
2 works on different versions of firefox
3 CNTR + F5 cache cleared many times
4 Tried to change "birthdate" field to "date" field. But same problem with picker

RESULT
Not working/

EXPECTED RESULT
Working birthdate.php file on version 4.0.2

BROWSER
Firefox = working fine
Internet Explorer = not functional.

- Instead of saying: 'it's not working', explain the problem in detail.
- Screenshots with the URL visible in them and the problem marked are more than welcome.
- Tell us how to replicate the problem, we can't fix it if we can't find it.
- Make sure that your site/server meets JomSocial System Requirements
- Make sure to setup JomSocial Cron Job
- Always provide us with access details to the backend and ftp. We need it to debug problems.
- If you have a similar problem, but a solution you found isn't working, open a new thread instead of 'merging' with an existing one.
