ISSUE SUMMARY:

Probably my fault here but if a video is public and is shared by email by someone not logged in or logged in (either state) the link that is sent in the email takes user to home page, not to the public video.


STEPS TO REPLICATE:
1 Go here eurovisionshowcase.tv/all-videos
2 Click on any video and share to your email address
3 When share email arrives (max 5 mins) click the link

RESULT

You arrive at home page

EXPECTED RESULT

You arrive at the specific video being shared

the URL missing the slashes. really strange, it can be 3rd party extension causing this issue. not sure what extension is. please provide me cpanel access detail by editing your first post at this topic. and put it at site info form. I need it for debugging purpose.

could you please re-check again about cpanel details? I cant access cpanel with that, invalid username/password.
remember username & password are case sensitive.

$params->set('uri' , $uri );

$params->set('uri' , JURI::base().CRoute::_($uri) );
