Hi, Ludovic.

You may use tha same trick. Just file is different:

ROOT/components/com_community/templates/jomsocial/layouts/register/base.php

And do it for this code (line 37):

<div class="joms-form__group">
            <span><?php echo JText::_('COM_COMMUNITY_NAME'); ?> <span class="joms-required">*</span></span>
            <input type="text" name="jsname" value="<?php echo $data['html_field']['jsname']; ?>" class="joms-input"
                data-required="true">
        </div>

to
<div class="joms-form__group hidden">
            <span><?php echo JText::_('COM_COMMUNITY_NAME'); ?></span>
            <input type="text" name="jsname" value="DEFAULT USER NAME" class="joms-input"
                data-required="false">
        </div>

and add new class to your css file;
.hidden {
display: none !important;
}

- Instead of saying: 'it's not working', explain the problem in detail.
- Screenshots with the URL visible in them and the problem marked are more than welcome.
- Tell us how to replicate the problem, we can't fix it if we can't find it.
- Make sure that your site/server meets JomSocial System Requirements
- Make sure to setup JomSocial Cron Job
- Always provide us with access details to the backend and ftp. We need it to debug problems.
- If you have a similar problem, but a solution you found isn't working, open a new thread instead of 'merging' with an existing one.

Hi, Ludovic.

No, you're using Joomla! default template called Protostar. Then you'll need to edit:

ROOT/templates/protostar/css/template.css

So your information about JS4 Pro templating are not very clear, because I understood from your documentation that you are not using joomla templates but a Jomsocial template (Jomsocial4 -> templates > then the one selected (heart) is jomsocial)

Hi, Ludovic.

They are quite clear.

In Joomla! there are only one object typec called "Templates". They are Joomla! templates and they are Joomla! front- or backend layouts.

The layouts we use for internal JomSocial displaye we just called "templates"... they may be called "skins" or "themes" or what ever. but In Joomla! there is only one kind of TEMPLATES.

I provided you with solution and explained how to make overrides using Joomla! templates.
Please, just follow it.
