When trying to nominate a location the map will only recognize the nearby locations instead of
allowing the user to type in say 545 Botany Road or even just sixth avenue Inglewood. The error message comes up and says "no matching location". Can we modify this feature so that user can pin the location typed by them, even if it is not available in the given list?

Hi, Shuey .

That is correct. When you want use location, browser will ask you to accept location detection . Then list of nearby location will be loaded. Typing something will filter those AVAILABLE location. This feature it's commonly mistaken with "search/mark my EXACT location". This could load only known location and not address. Location are just marked in Google and post box loads them from there.

- Instead of saying: 'it's not working', explain the problem in detail.
- Screenshots with the URL visible in them and the problem marked are more than welcome.
- Tell us how to replicate the problem, we can't fix it if we can't find it.
- Make sure that your site/server meets JomSocial System Requirements
- Make sure to setup JomSocial Cron Job
- Always provide us with access details to the backend and ftp. We need it to debug problems.
- If you have a similar problem, but a solution you found isn't working, open a new thread instead of 'merging' with an existing one.

- Use the "Thank You" feature on any post that helped you
