I guess the ReadyBytes team is not going to be updating the XIPT component. SInce our community is based off of 15 different profile types, I either have to stay with older JS3 and never upgrade or figure out a work around so we can ensure current updates. I started creating multi-profile types (yes it's enabled) and after enabling the registration redirection plugin, now I see the few profile type buttons that I created. (Progress!)

Now I am trying to figure out how to enable unique avatars for each profile type as it says in the documentation and I can't see where or how to do that.

"Multi-Profile Features
Create unlimited profile types.
Use different profile fields for individual profile types.
Use different avatars and watermarks."

Thanks and I look forward to hearing from you soon.

Hi Adam,

That quote is not very well written, and needs correcting. It should say "Add a watermark image to a users profiles based on their profile type.

there is no ability to set a specific avatar for a specific profile type. You can only add a watermark to it

Paul,

Thank you for the not so good news... I might be able to still make it work when it comes to the registerProfileType page but I need a quick tip from you if you could. Currently, it seems that the profiletype description input box is not html and strips any html from the description. What do I need to change in the template in order to make it so I can add an image next to the description of each? Thanks,

Adam

Nevermind, I figured a workaround.

The one thing that has always bothered me though (and even more so that I haven't been able to figure out is how to change the dispaly of the birthday to Month-Day-Year as the current version is not used here in the states and is a dead giveaway that we are not a local company (even though we are). How do I change the date format? Thanks,

Hi Andrew

In the fields options in profiles you can set the format using m-d-y or d-m-y

here is a screenshot of where to set it
