Hi, I have two issues with shares/invitation emails.

1. Share - If I share a video or photo, the email that arrives has a truncated link in it ... Hi there,

2. When I send an event invitation to an email, no email is received. Interestingly when I Share say a video, I immediately get a pop-up message saying that an email has been sent, but this message doesn't appear when I send an event invitation.

Any ideas/help appreciated

this is a bug, here the fix:
edit [JOOMLA SITE ROOT]/components/com_community/controllers/bookmarks.php at line 83, change the code from

$params->set('uri' , $uri );

$params->set('uri' , JURI::base().str_replace('/', '', CRoute::_($uri)) );

Hi, I made the changes but now no emails are being sent at all.

OK, a little progress - I think!

If I revert to the old system.php I get an email when a video is shared but not when an event is shared.

The link with the video takes me to an error page .. attached
