Welcome the Technical Support section. Help us in assisting you by providing us with a concise and descriptive elaboration of your issues. Be specific and if possible, provide us with a step-by-step instruction in replicating your problem.
I have various usergroups on my website with varying levels of access, in Jomsocial 3.2.x any Joomla usergroup with the permissions of "admin login" were granted the permissions in Jomsocial frontend to delete posts from streams, remove pictures, ban users and similar.
In Jomsocial 4 it now appears that only "Super Users" are able to do any of these actions, this is a security concern for me as I have a large community and rely on others to moderate posts and edit/delete where needed. I can't give everyone "Super User" permissions.
Is this a bug or a planned change? if it's planned this is a disaster as Jomsocial already lacks any kind of ACL and to give multiple users "Super user" permissions to be able to moderate a community would be extremely bad practice.
I presume that this is planned change as for now JomSocial doesn't support Joomla! ACL yet.
This is planned in JomSocial 4.3:

But I'll ask PO about this.
- Instead of saying: 'it's not working', explain the problem in detail.
- Screenshots with the URL visible in them and the problem marked are more than welcome.
- Tell us how to replicate the problem, we can't fix it if we can't find it.
- Make sure that your site/server meets JomSocial System Requirements
- Make sure to setup JomSocial Cron Job
- Always provide us with access details to the backend and ftp. We need it to debug problems.
- If you have a similar problem, but a solution you found isn't working, open a new thread instead of 'merging' with an existing one.
- Use the "Thank You" feature on any post that helped you
If it is planned would it be possible to give a quick fix or hack to make it function like Jomsocial 3.2.x? Any user with admin login permission can access the moderation tools- I don't fancy making 10 users "super users"
I asked PO - Sinisa to take a look on this issue. He'll suggest what we should do with it... and if any quick fix is possible...
