Error When Updating Birthday on Profile

Members are receiving the following error when they try to edit the birth date on their profile:

Joomla!
500 - An error has occurred.

DateTime::__construct(): Failed to parse time string (0NaN-NaN-NaN) at position 0 (0): Unexpected character

I went to the back end to attempt to do the same, and received the same error when trying to edit.

Hi, Joseph.

Your issue is caused by known bug in birthdate field. You can't customize date format there... just remove format you typed in "m-d-Y" and your issue will be gone.

This issue will be fixed in next JomSocial release.

- Instead of saying: 'it's not working', explain the problem in detail.
- Screenshots with the URL visible in them and the problem marked are more than welcome.
- Tell us how to replicate the problem, we can't fix it if we can't find it.
- Make sure that your site/server meets JomSocial System Requirements
- Make sure to setup JomSocial Cron Job
- Always provide us with access details to the backend and ftp. We need it to debug problems.
- If you have a similar problem, but a solution you found isn't working, open a new thread instead of 'merging' with an existing one.
