JomSocial Expired

Hi guys,
I want to use JS as a profile page. So when users view each other’s profile, they only should see the profile information. I do not need the stream, “what is on your mind” and the futures. Just very basic!
In addition, I am looking for a review system where users can write review each other. Kind of like a tripadvisor. But in this case they would review each other. Do you know any plugin as such?

Thank you,
regards

Hi, Farid.

Yes, this could be done. I'll provide you with a complete hack to remove activity stream and post box in profile at Monday.
I understand that when user visits other user profile "About me" should be displayed by default?

As for reviews, you may try this: www.jomsocial.com/addons/applications/jreview

- Instead of saying: 'it's not working', explain the problem in detail.
- Screenshots with the URL visible in them and the problem marked are more than welcome.
- Tell us how to replicate the problem, we can't fix it if we can't find it.
- Make sure that your site/server meets JomSocial System Requirements
- Make sure to setup JomSocial Cron Job
- Always provide us with access details to the backend and ftp. We need it to debug problems.
- If you have a similar problem, but a solution you found isn't working, open a new thread instead of 'merging' with an existing one.

Hi, Farid.

To make "About me" be opened by default edit this file:

ROOT/components/com_community/templates/default/modules/profile/userinfo.php

in line 120 change this:

<div class="collapse js-collapse-about">

to this:
<div class="collapse js-collapse-about in">

To remove activity stream and all boxes, copy this file:

ROOT/components/com_community/templates/default/profile.index.php

to: ROOT/templates/your-template/html/com_community (if you don't have "html" or "com_community" folders, feel free to create them)

Remove from it this lines (from 34 to 94):
<div class="row-fluid">
		<div class="span8">
			<!-- begin: .cMain -->
			<div class="cMain">

				<?php $this->renderModules( 'js_profile_feed_top' ); ?>
				<div class="activity-stream-front">

					<?php
						$this->view('profile')->modProfileUserstatus();
                        if ( CFactory::getUser()->guest != 1 ) {
                    ?>
					<div class="joms-latest-activities-container" data-actid="<?php echo JFactory::getApplication()->input->get('actid', -1, 'INT'); ?>" style="display:none;">

					<div class="activity-stream-profile">
