Hi,
Currently if I create a custom field and set the type of the field as Multiple Select it is displayed as classical multiple select list where user have to use keyboard`s ctrl button to choose multiple values.

I would like to turn this classical function into jquery chosen multiple select function which is more user friendly.

Would you please guide me how to do that.

well I came across with a quick solution, in case other people needs that, i am writing the solution here.
I just added below lines into my joomla template`s index.php file. And it functions now.
JHtml::_('behavior.multiselect');
JHtml::_('formbehavior.chosen', 'select');
