We are having an issue. Whenever someone accepts a friend request, they are getting the following error: Error: You are not authorised to view this resource.

This happens when the user is notified via email that they have a friend request and they click the accept button. They are greeted with the error.

Also, I just accepted a request while already being logged in and I got the error. The friend was added, but I got the error. Very odd. Please help.

1. edit /components/com_community/templates/default/guests.denied.php
2. at line 17, change the code from

$this->load('frontpage.guests.php');

$this->load('frontpage.guests');

I thought that this problem was solved, but my users are still reporting the same problem to me. See attachment for how I have it set.

It seems to specifically happen when they accept the request via the email notification that get sent to them when someone sends them the friend request.

This is the url getting sent in the email: mysite.com/index.php?option=com_communit...friends&task=pending

When I’m not logged in this is the error I get:
“You do not have permission to view this resource. Please contact the Site Administrator.”

How can I change the language on that to perhaps say, “Please log in to view friend request”?

When I am logged in, it takes me to the page of friends pending the approval, which is fine… unless there’s a way I can approve it from the email?
