Email notifications - bugs and poor user experience

Hi -- I posted this before and since found a 404 bug as well.

When email notifications are sent to users, the links should go to a login page, not an error page or a 404 page (attached_. Can this be prioritized as an issue by your team as it leads to a poor user experience. We've received multiple complaints - a fix would help with other customers' communities as well I'm sure.

Please advise.

Hi, Tiberiu.

This is not a bug but your site specific issue. It's happening - as I noticed - when stream object is liked.
I also noticed that you have a lot of modified files in ROOT/component/com_community/template/default.
One of changes made could cause this issue.
Could you do a safe copy of your modified "default" template and copy original template files - ten make test if issue persist.

- Instead of saying: 'it's not working', explain the problem in detail.
- Screenshots with the URL visible in them and the problem marked are more than welcome.
- Tell us how to replicate the problem, we can't fix it if we can't find it.
- Make sure that your site/server meets JomSocial System Requirements
- Make sure to setup JomSocial Cron Job
- Always provide us with access details to the backend and ftp. We need it to debug problems.
- If you have a similar problem, but a solution you found isn't working, open a new thread instead of 'merging' with an existing one.
