Dear support team,

What i notice is that when uploading an avatar, you see (if you have an almost square avatar) on the avatar on the profile the full avatar. However.. on the pop-up screen, while uploading you see it full with a selection over it. I see that a lot of members (because they see it also directly on there profile) that there avatar is ok. While infact... they have to pull the selection over the whole avatar.

This confuses the members, because they think... he! is alright, while infact they have to click close to maintain the avatar in its size, of use the selection tool.

Can it be handelt different? That the uploaded version is ok and that they can choose change with a button or something?

You can upload avatar in two places - by clicking n avatar directly (then you have preview) and by clicking menu position in toolbar. Avatar upload in modal window is a newer method while menu upload is an older one. That's why they are different and provide different preview modes.

In JomSocial 4.0 this should be improved. But to be sure - ask about it in Community (or ask Sinisa directly).
