Delete Multiple Profiles

I purchased JS Profile Types, and there is a conflict with the Jomsocial Multiple Profiles.

I am trying to delete the Multiple Profiles from jomsocial but it gives me this error:

Error
Unable to delete Artista as there are still users who are still using this profile.

How can I delete multiple profiles?

Hi, Miguel.

Just disable Multiple profiles in Backend -> Components -> JomSocial -> Configuration -> Site -> Multiple Profiles
-> Enable Multiple Profiles -> NO

Then disable Multiprofiles in Profiles -> Multiple Profiles.

Still you'll not be able to delete those profiles but conflict should be gone.

But if still you'll need to delete those profiles - you'll have to do it in database.

- Instead of saying: 'it's not working', explain the problem in detail.
- Screenshots with the URL visible in them and the problem marked are more than welcome.
- Tell us how to replicate the problem, we can't fix it if we can't find it.
- Make sure that your site/server meets JomSocial System Requirements
- Make sure to setup JomSocial Cron Job
- Always provide us with access details to the backend and ftp. We need it to debug problems.
- If you have a similar problem, but a solution you found isn't working, open a new thread instead of 'merging' with an existing one.

OK, I disabled it, but I still have that problem.

What tables do I have to delete in the database? thanks.

Hi, Miguel.

Do a safe copy of your DB first!

_community_profiles - contains Multi Profiles
_community_profiles_fields - contains fields assigned to Multi Profiles

But you don't have to do anything with them ;)

Just run this query:

UPDATE `your-db-name`.`your-suffix_community_users` SET `profile_id` = '0'

Replace:

your-db-name - this is your database name
your-suffix - this is your database tables suffix

This will clear all relation between user profiles and multiprofiles. After that you'll be able to delete Multi profiles direct in admin backend. ;)
