I have been unable to access the Jomsocial dashboard admin panel for some time, today I decided to fix this

This was my error report:

Fatal error: Allowed memory size of 134217728 bytes exhausted (tried to allocate 72 bytes) in /var/www/vhosts/xxxxx/httpdocs/xxxxxx/administrator/components/com_community/views/community/view.html.php on line 512

This is part of the "average age" function, removing this function and the corresponding call to display the average age on line 59 resolved this.

I think the reason for it failing is that I don't utilise the default "field_gender" but use a custom text field for gender as I offer further options

I don't need any support on this, but making you aware in case it affects other users as I have seen quite a few "admin page blank" support threads.

Please you try increase the memory_limit, for more information how to do that you can ask your server admin.

My PHP memory limit is within Jomsocials advised parameters, I think you have an issue with how the PHP function is called causing the high memory usage

If it can't work at 128mb memory limit you need to change the minimum server requirements you list surey?

I will stick to removing that function

Well, that is depend the how many user do you have, you have soo many users on your tables... I think your server should be tweaked, please you try increase it.. in our doc it says "minumum" so that is possible if you should change it to the bigger size depend how active your site is ;)
