Dashboard Stats are not Correct

When reviewing the Dashboard in JomSocial the number of users appears incorrectly. Currently it is reading 417, when going to Monitor > Members, there is a total of 617 members. These numbers are not reliable and make me question other things about the dashboard features in JomSocial. What could be going wrong? I have tested in Google Chrome 39, IE 11 and Firefox 34.

Hi, Stephen.

This counter counts only members that have at least 1 user points :) So they did something any activity so we count them as members.
All other members ware unactive - so have 0 points, never logged in or disabled. That is why number of all users (enabled and disabled) is different in members counter.

- Instead of saying: 'it's not working', explain the problem in detail.
- Screenshots with the URL visible in them and the problem marked are more than welcome.
- Tell us how to replicate the problem, we can't fix it if we can't find it.
- Make sure that your site/server meets JomSocial System Requirements
- Make sure to setup JomSocial Cron Job
- Always provide us with access details to the backend and ftp. We need it to debug problems.
- If you have a similar problem, but a solution you found isn't working, open a new thread instead of 'merging' with an existing one.

Shouldn't that be labeled different then? Nothing states that these are active only members.

hi Stephen,

Beside what mike said, that summary is coming from the Jomsocial user database, if user havent logged to jomsocial so that user is not be flagged as Jomsocial user, and wont be counted on dashboard.

To avoid if you can hack this file components/com_community/views/community/views.html.php, find this :

$user->getMembersCount('jomsocial')

replace to :
$user->getMembersCount('all')
