I have noticed that the status against some usernames on the search and member list pages can be wrong. Latest example below, the status "Looking for a women to meet for sex with no strings" is coming up against my own username. This status was posted by a user around 24 hours ago, the user account of that user has been blocked.

I am unable to replicate this on the current version. We would need site access or a replication of your site to test it in your enviroment

I will set up a new dev environment and clone the current site and db for you or developer to investigate this issue further and update my original post with the details shortly

I think the trigger is when a user is blocked somewhere, I am also wondering if it's to do with the user IDs as they have now reached 6 figures ~110k users

I see, I able to replicate it.. the user status is not updated when user edit the stream post.

This is how to fix the issue , open this file components/com_community/controllers/activities.php, add this code :

$status = $this->getModel('status');
            $status->update($my->id, $value, $activity->access);

            $today = JFactory::getDate();
            $my->set('_status', $value);
            $my->set('_posted_on', $today->toSql());

$activity->title = $value;
             $activity->store();
