If UserA blocks UserB, UserB is unable to view UserA's profile or send a message - perfect.

If UserA posts an activity stream item with privacy set to "public" or "site members", UserB can see the stream item and add comments - surely this shouldn't be possible?

Blocking a user stops the user from being contacted by the other user. It does not hide everything that user does on the site

This isn't normal behavior, surely if UserB is blocked they shouldn't see your posts either if you don't see theirs when you block them.

I have spoken with Sinisa, the project owner to get clarification on this. The block user functionality is only designed to prevent someone from sending you a private message, and was added into Jomsocial at a very early stage. How it is working is how it is meant to function. Blocking a user from sending another User a message.

I have been told that this feature will have some improvements to it in Jomsocial 4 but has not been something that has been completely overhauled in the next version

If that is the case why is it hiding status updates of the user you have blocked also? This is a bug then.

As the product progresses additional functions get written into features. I have been told that there are more functions in the block user that are added in Jomsocial 4.

I find this same odd behaviour in Jomsocial 4, I have read the detailed changelog and find various references to the block functionality being improved but with no detail, can it be clarified please?
