When clicking through on E-Mail links such as accept friend request, the user sees:

You do not have permission to view this resource. Please contact the Site Administrator.

The URL is: www.thechaplainconnection.org/index.php?...friends&task=pending

Instead of the login page. Note: We are using PayPlan and its JomSocial Redirect plug-in.

Hi,

This is default behavior, that block page wont effect too much with your paypal / jomsocial redirect plugin.

But the solution you can edit this file components/com_community/controllers/friends.php, find this code inside pending() function :

return $this->blockUnregister();

$mainframe = JFactory::getApplication();
$mainframe->redirect('index.php?option=com_community&view=frontpage');

Hi and thanks for the reply. This appears to work, but I had to make the change to the original file located in components/com_community/controllers

If it place an override version in my template's <template root>/html/com_community/ folder it is ignored. What would be the correct override location?

You cant override the controller files, the override only will work for template :)
