Hi, I have several custom profiles fields, all public. Is there a way a Member can edit just a specific custom profile in front page, for example:

About Me: Member edit
Social Media: Member edit
Gender: Member edit
Location: Member edit

Instructor Level: Administrator edit
Certification: Administrator edit
Instructor Since: Administrator edit
Boot Camp Training: Administrator edit

Hi, Juan Pablo.

Yes, you can set certain fields as "Read only" so member couldn't edit them after registration.
"Read only" is one of options available during edit field in backend.

- Instead of saying: 'it's not working', explain the problem in detail.
- Screenshots with the URL visible in them and the problem marked are more than welcome.
- Tell us how to replicate the problem, we can't fix it if we can't find it.
- Make sure that your site/server meets JomSocial System Requirements
- Make sure to setup JomSocial Cron Job
- Always provide us with access details to the backend and ftp. We need it to debug problems.
- If you have a similar problem, but a solution you found isn't working, open a new thread instead of 'merging' with an existing one.

- Use the "Thank You" feature on any post that helped you

Hi Michal

By certain field you mean text fields, is not possible for select or radio button fields. Can I set permissions for these fields in other way?

Hi, Juan Pablo.

You may set their visibility for "Admin only" so once they are filled during registration only admin could see/edit them in front or backend.
