hi, i think a manual recreation does not help here! some Avatars are in S3 Bucket and other on server so that's the reason why it not works for all Edit Avatar Popup. the issue seems related to this: www.jomsocial.com/forum/profile-universa...ser-avatars-not-work

after investigate it again, I confirmed this issue is a bug. even using S3, the avatar preview image still looking local source.

hi Albertus, i have severall issues reported about Avatar, Remote Storage and Cropping. all most of them are related to each other! now is the right time to fix all those Bugs with Jomsocial 3.2.1.5 ans S3 Storage asap! i can't wait again 1 Month more to get a fix..sorry to say and i know it's not your fault ..but the time between our bug reports and a working fix is not very Customer friendly!

here the fix from our developer:

unzip and put it to /components/com_community/libraries/


unzip and put it to /components/com_community/tables/

please backup the files first before you replacing it. and if the avatar not appear at "crop" popup, they need to re-upload the avatar again.

this issue not 100% fix, our developer need to make big changes related with S3.
if some avatars not transferred to s3, sometime will make problem and users need to re-upload the avatar again.

that files from our developer, for now only that fixes we can provide to you.

re-upload only helps if the user not try to cropping the re-uploaded Avatar again! because if the re-uploaded Avatar is in the meantime transfered to S3 Bucket then he get the same issues again! can you confirm this?

if user try to cropping, but cannot. they must re-upload the avatar again. after transferred to s3 again. cropping will works, and user no need to re-upload again.

ok i unterstand that user must re-upload there avatar if not showed. but i'm not sure if you realy unterstand what happens if in the meantime the new re-uploaded avatar is already transfered to s3 bucket! if user try now..to cropping the old issue comes back!

do you think a user do care whats technical happend behind the scenes? i believe no..he will leave the avatar cropping page without to re-upload or do anything else!
