hi, after upgrade from 2.6.3 to 3.2.1.5 is the Avatar Preview not longer showed for Avatars wich are uploaded in 2.6.3!

see attached screenshot

it works only if User uploaded a new Avatar in 3.2.1.5

- Instead of saying: 'it's not working', explain the problem in detail.
- Screenshots with the URL visible in them and the problem marked are more than welcome.
- Tell us how to replicate the problem, we can't fix it if we can't find it.
- Make sure that your site/server meets JomSocial System Requirements
- Make sure to setup JomSocial Cron Job
- Always provide us with access details to the backend and ftp. We need it to debug problems.
- If you have a similar problem, but a solution you found isn't working, open a new thread instead of 'merging' with an existing one.

Here the fix:
1. backup and edit /components/com_community/views/profile/view.html.php
2. at line 1075 you can see this code

if (JFile::exists($avatarImageDir . 'profile-' . $fileName)) {
     $largeAvatar = str_replace($fileName, 'profile-' . $fileName, $largeAvatar);
}

remove it.

please give me access again to your FTP and Adminstrator page. With site info detail, I cant access that both. seem the access has been closed.

I need to inspect the issue again at your site, because I cant replicate it at my test site

hi Albert,

i'v checked the Link again but there is stll no Preview if admin try to Edit Avatar!

hi,

thanks four you screenshot. i get the same result like you with firefox but with chrome on Vista and XP it is showed like the screenshot in my first post!
