User registration confirmation email sent twice...

Hi there, how are you doing...?

When a user register to my site using JomSocial registration process, they receive the email notification twice...

Any idea how to fix this...?

I assign developer to this thread.


- Instead of saying: 'it's not working', explain the problem in detail.
- Screenshots with the URL visible in them and the problem marked are more than welcome.
- Tell us how to replicate the problem, we can't fix it if we can't find it.
- Make sure that your site/server meets JomSocial System Requirements
- Make sure to setup JomSocial Cron Job
- Always provide us with access details to the backend and ftp. We need it to debug problems.
- If you have a similar problem, but a solution you found isn't working, open a new thread instead of 'merging' with an existing one.

- Use the "Thank You" feature on any post that helped you

Hi Dimas,

The only modification to Jomsocial that we've done is for this file:

ROOT/components/com_community/templates/default/modules/profile/userinfo.php

That was done to facilitate our custom module that replaces the Cover Photo area of user profiles.

Hi Enrico,

I also see the email templates already changed, Im not sure if you only hacked userinfo.php file.

Please you try to replace file register.php from folder components/com_community/controllers/ with the original code.
