No, posts can'r be shared like other objects e.g photo or video.
If you want feature like this you'll need to hire a professional developer to create it for you:

Posts are treated as objects containing elements. You cant share one element from an object...

I'm sorry I misunderstood.I thought that you want to have post share option for groups. Share button for post is available out-of-the box for posts on main activity stream. Not all activities will have it e.g like activity, joining to events or group, avatar and cover change... all other posts should have it.

Do you experience any issues with that feature? Is share button not working or visible in your community? May I take a look?

Yes, share button not visible (but it's enable in administration).

I could log in but dashboard is displayed wrong.
When I click to see frontend, I'm redirecting to: http://172.25.131.107/social/

That indicates that you have issues with your installation and may need site overhaul.

It's happen because it's a redirect.
I'm using the jomsocial as a intranet.
The back-end is correct. The jomsocial don't has the ACL control to specific a group of use to see the menu (jconfig params)
After you do the login in backend, go to link www.cagece.com.br/social/administrator/i...option=com_community to access the jomsocial

To see the front-end, there is a bug in jomsocial
I use the proxy reverse to put this in my domain, but the jomsocial alway try to get the files from the original URL, not the actual URL, like all the others components from joomla.

For exemple, the original server is 172.25.131.107, but I'm accessing the jomscial in another server, using the address www.cagece.com.br/social

In firebug we can see the networking request to local ip and not to proxy server. It's happen because the jomsocial uses the absolute urls and not the relative urls.

I checked now using a 3g network and it is ok.

The visualization of the website and the urls it's now corrected. I hope that you can help me with the problem with the share button.

This is the rule for share

1. should another user able to see the share stream
2. should public post, if you dont set your post as public, the "share" button wont show.
