Hi,

I need to add a new module called "About Me" in user's profile. JomSocial already provides the about me details in profile page but I need these details in one extra module. If there is any plugin available for that please let me know.

Otherwise please let know which file I need to edit for hard-code.

There is no need to hack any file as JomSocial already has built-in module positions:

All positions called js_profile(...) will display module in profile view.

If you ask for module that will display value of About me field than there is no such a module. You'll have to add hack to profile view template:

ROOT/components/com_community/templates/default/profile.index.php

Copy it to ROOT/templates/your-template/html/com_community (if you don't have "html" or "com_community" folders, feel free to create them)

Then you may use this trick:
