Create different templates for different profile type

Can I customized the profile template for each profile type?
I don't mean the profile fields but more specifically how each profile template will look. For example, I want the student profile to have a avatar picture and a school profile to not have a avatar picture. Moreover, I want the school profile section to have a different template layout to the student template.
Currently, when I customized the template, it changes for every profile.
