We would like to setup a structure where we can have our agents ( that work for the site) have the ability to fill in the details of client profiles for the member, our site is designed to be almost strictly for businesses and we would like to have our agents helping to fill out the details of their cleints.

we would also like to track if we can the agents friends,as their individual customers , how might we achieve these requirements?

So you need ACL support. As for now JomSocial doesn't support ACL out of the box but you may try JSPT extension: www.readybytes.net/jomsocial-profile-type.html

I'm not sure how you want to track agent friends... could you elaborate what you mean by this?

- Instead of saying: 'it's not working', explain the problem in detail.
- Screenshots with the URL visible in them and the problem marked are more than welcome.
- Tell us how to replicate the problem, we can't fix it if we can't find it.
- Make sure that your site/server meets JomSocial System Requirements
- Make sure to setup JomSocial Cron Job
- Always provide us with access details to the backend and ftp. We need it to debug problems.
- If you have a similar problem, but a solution you found isn't working, open a new thread instead of 'merging' with an existing one.

How can I find what I used , whatever it was allows me to login with a clients username and use my own admin password to make adjustments to that clients account..

please advise it detail TY

Then you need a kind of "Master User" that will be able to login as a any other user.
Try this extensions:

extensions.joomla.org/profile/extension/...ss/login-as-any-user
extensions.joomla.org/extension/master-user
