Customize Profile - how to translate vales of optins in a select field

Hello,

I want to implement a multilanguage instance of JomSocial and we will have customized profiles. In the customized Profile there are select-Fields

What I have to do when we want to translate this options in different languages?

Use language constants and declare them in language override feature: www.inmotionhosting.com/support/edu/joom...ew-language-override

E.g type constants like this one in select field options:

MY_CONSTANT_1
MY_CONSTANT_2
MY_CONSTANT_3

Then add them to language override for every language you have on your site and declare what text should be displayed in certai language.

- Instead of saying: 'it's not working', explain the problem in detail.
- Screenshots with the URL visible in them and the problem marked are more than welcome.
- Tell us how to replicate the problem, we can't fix it if we can't find it.
- Make sure that your site/server meets JomSocial System Requirements
- Make sure to setup JomSocial Cron Job
- Always provide us with access details to the backend and ftp. We need it to debug problems.
- If you have a similar problem, but a solution you found isn't working, open a new thread instead of 'merging' with an existing one.
