If the profile settings for a user are set not to allow them to create events, they can still create an event by going to any group page and there they see Import Event which allows them to import from an iCal and create a valid event.

Hi, Andrew.

I confirm it's a valid bug - thank you for reporting it.

- Instead of saying: 'it's not working', explain the problem in detail.
- Screenshots with the URL visible in them and the problem marked are more than welcome.
- Tell us how to replicate the problem, we can't fix it if we can't find it.
- Make sure that your site/server meets JomSocial System Requirements
- Make sure to setup JomSocial Cron Job
- Always provide us with access details to the backend and ftp. We need it to debug problems.
- If you have a similar problem, but a solution you found isn't working, open a new thread instead of 'merging' with an existing one.

Hi, Andrew.

No, fixing is still in progress.
I'll update you when I'll have patch for it.

Hi, Andrew.

Please, make safe copy of those files:

ROOT/components/com_community/controllers/events.php
ROOT/components/com_community/views/events/view.html.php

Then upload content of zip package to main Joomla! folder on server.
